Whitehorse June 21st 23rd.

As you may recall, we got parked next to smokers in the RV park last year and cut our visit here short. We tried a different one this year, although tight, no smokers near us. It was quiet at night.

A bit of restocking, not much as we are heading for Alaska and have to be careful of what we take across the boarder. I went to the Transportation museum  and Pat went for a pedicure. The museum was good and Pat said that the pedicure was a good one.

We drove up the Long Lk. just to the north of town, very nice spot. Then checked out the burbs west of town. There is a little view point overlooking the Yukon River.

Next was Miles Canyon.

There was a Quilt shop on the main drag, so Pat had to check it out. One of the best she has ever been in, thought I was going to get heat stroke sitting in the truck, waiting for her. lol.

We are very happy we got to check out Whitehorse, a very nice town. Small city. It is very busy, lots of tourists. At least two or three 737's fly in every day.

Off to Alaska
