Buckinghorse June 7th

On the way to Buckinghorse, we had to stop on the highway for a momma moose and her baby. Unfortunately, while towing, I can't get the camera out fast enough to get a photo. The weather has been sun, cloud, sun, cloud. When we got to the campsite, we got to sit out for half an hour or so before the clouds came again.

The river is way higher than when we were here last Aug.

We secured a site at the Triple G RV park and began contemplating our next moves.

A couple of units pulled in beside us from Saskatchewan and started to set up. It was clear that RVing was new to them. The gal was trying to help and was attempting to hookup the city water to the trailer. As she was having difficulty, the guy finished doing it for her. A little while later I hear him say that they must not be level as water was dripping off their roof.  Turns out they hooked the water hose to the black tank flush and they filled the tank till the water was coming out the roof vent. I bet they don't do that again. Pat wondered if there was poop on the roof but I think the water was probably pretty diluted by then. Still, they were probably happy for a little rain.

As he is a farmer, I asked him about all the dandelions we have seen, he said he has never seen anything like it. I guess a good year for dandelions. An example of what I am talking about. This is just a small field. We have seen hundreds of acres of them.

This part of BC is Mountain Standard Time and they don't do Daylight time. So this time of year they are the same as the rest of BC, in the winter they are the same as Alberta.

We will most likely not be any cell service where we are heading next, I will let our next destination be a surprise. See you in a couple of days.

  1. Don't need any of those dandelions here! Raining here today makes it an inside day
