Jasper May 27th 29th
Driving the Columbia Icefields Parkway is always a treat. Along with awesome mountains, you usually get to see wildlife. We were not disappointed, two Mountain Goats, two Rocky Mountain rams and a bear. We like to camp at Wabbbaso, it is a little out of Jasper but nice and quiet, with a lot less people. We were sitting out at the fire but the wind came up and drove us inside. Went into Jasper to get a few things, very expensive, not near as many people around as in Banff. Along the road to the campsite is a side road to Mt Edith Cavell, we have passed it many times and not gone up there. We thought this is the time, wrong, closed, still to much snow. Oh well, still something new for next time. Pyramid and Patricia Lks. were next on the ticket, A new spot for us, just up behind Jasper. More very nice views. The last time we were here, in the late summer, we drove up to Maligne and Medicine Lk. We wanted to see what it looks like in the spring, late winter, lol. Last tim...
